I have used the solutions provided for the odom_subscriber.cpp but the program runs into error while compiling:

error: ‘nav_msgs’ does not name a type void counterCallback(const nav_msgs::Odometry::ConstPtr& data) error: expected unqualified-id before ‘::’ token void counterCallback(const nav_msgs::Odometry::ConstPtr& data) error: expected ‘)’ before ‘::’ token error: expected initializer before‘::’ token

Could someone enlighten me where the problem is? Thank you!

have you tried to include the Odometry with #include <nav_msgs/Odometry.h>?

If so, could you provide update your question with the source code of your file?

By looking at the code we could better diagnose the problem.
