Hey, I would like to ask a question about the face_recognition package we use in the Perception Course. I'm trying to do it in my own laptop, with ROS installed and a usb_camera I have got.

So, basically OpenCV works, and I can use it to see myself, but it seems I'm not using the package face_recognition correctly. I am programming in python.

If I add the package in the CMakeLists.xml like: find_package(face_recognition REQUIRED) include_directories(${face_recognition_INCLUDE_DIRS})

The next error pops-up when building the package: "CMakeLists.txt:160 (find_package): By not providing "Findface_recognition.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project has asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by "face_recognition", but CMake did not find one.

Could not find a package configuration file provided by "face_recognition" with any of the following names:

face_recognitionConfig.cmake
face_recognition-config.cmake

Add the installation prefix of "face_recognition" to CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH or set "face_recognition_DIR" to a directory containing one of the above files. If "face_recognition" provides a separate development package or SDK, be sure it has been installed."

If I don't add it, obviously the python code fails at the first command that uses face_recognition (face_recognition.load_image(path)

What can I do?

Thank you in advance.

The only package referring to face recognition in RobotIgniteAcademy and RDS is face_recognition_pkg. Its in the Public simulations git of TheConstructSim: face_recognition_pkg

Could you share maybe a git or ROSject with the project to see what might be going wrong?
