Hello,

DeleteModel is a file.srv that has the structure of the message (the data that use this kind of message):

string model_name # name of the Gazebo Model to be deleted
---
bool success # return true if deletion is successful
string status_message # comments if available

However, DeleteModelRequest is automatically generated when the client is executed and it makes possible that you could call to the service with the data you want to modify, delete, add, whatever you want that your services does.

So, DeleteModelRequest works when you do this in the WebShell:

rosservice call /gazebo/delete_model "model_name: '...'"

Because as the course says "the request is the part of the message that is used to CALL the Service. Therefore, it is sent by the Service Client to the Service Server."

Hope this can help you
