ROS_DISTRO was set to 'melodic' before. Please make sure that the environment does not mix paths from different distributions. How change .bashrc for adding the following line at the end source /opt/ros/fuerte/setup.bash. My profile password dont match.

Hi @olyapesterevainboxru,

Are you talking about an instance on Robot Ignite Academy or ROS Development Studio? If you, the distro is already set and should not be changed.

If you want to add that line (or any other thing) to the .bashrc on your local PC, simply do the following at a Linux terminal:

echo "/opt/ros/fuerte/setup.bash" >> ~/.bashrc

Be careful that you don't add the wrong thing to your .bashrc. If you need to edit manually, just do this at a terminal:

nano ~/.bashrc

Edit the file and then follow the onscreen instructions to save it. You can Google how to use nano, vi and others for editing files on Linux.
